About Mo
I’m Mo Lima, a Certified Professional Portrait Photographer and the owner of a luxury portrait studio in Alpharetta, Georgia. My work is centered on something simple and meaningful: creating portraits that tell a story in a way words never quite can.
Meet Mo Lima, CPP
I’ve always been someone who notices beauty. You know, one of those people who stops in the middle of what they’re doing to look at a flower, a cloud, or a butterfly. That’s me. That instinct is the heart of my work. I see the small details and the uniqueness that every person brings with them. Photography gives me a way to celebrate that beauty and reflect it back through portraits that feel confident and expressive.
Art Background + Corporate Experience
Long before I opened my studio, I was an art student and loved painting. Later, I found myself in the corporate world as an online marketing manager for a Fortune 100 brand. That experience taught me how crucial strong visuals are for a personal brand, for a career, and for the way someone makes an impression before they ever say their first hello. What I missed in those years was the creative spark I had as an art student. Today, that creative energy has found a home in photography.
A Luxury Portrait Experience in Alpharetta
In the studio, the ultimate goal is the same: create an experience that feels comfortable, collaborative, and most importantly, uplifting. With thoughtful guidance and an artistic eye, I design portraits that people are proud to share, display, and pass down. Whether the portraits are for business, personal milestones, special family connections, or to mark a moment worth remembering, each session is crafted to highlight your personal spark.
What Drives My Work
Photographs help us hold onto things we might otherwise overlook: the emotion, the expression, the small details that tell the real story. I’m here to help you see that story with fresh eyes and to create portraits that feel true to who you are or want to be.

Now, I’ve got some questions for you—
Is there something stopping you from getting in front of the camera?
Whether it’s not knowing what to wear, not knowing how to pose, body shyness, or feeling unphotogenic, trust me, clients feel and look amazing once my team gets a hold of them. I’m an expert at helping my clients feel comfortable and even getting them to have fun!
Wondering why you’d need professional portrait photos?
Yes, you’ve got plenty of photos on your phone, but when was the last time you were professionally photographed? How many recent photos do you own that you love? Something that you can really, really keep or gift? My portrait sessions make you feel special and they’re portraits that tell the story of you--not just for you, but also for your family to come.
Curious why headshots matter for business owners?
Photography tells an important, strategic story about you! Whether you’re an entrepreneur, author, run a blog, or are in the arts, you ARE a brand. Don’t let some other outlet tell your story. Take control of how people see you and make a bold impression that the world can't miss.
Think you don’t need to display photos of yourself?
The truth is, you may feel like you’re not ready to get professional photos you can display. Perhaps those snapshots you’ve had in the past make you feel “less than.” But it doesn’t matter how old you are, what size you are, or what you look like; I’ve been a photographer for years, and my sessions are meant to make you look and feel your absolute best. I want you to be proud of your beautiful photos. Your family and close friends want to see (and have) photos of you!

A Portrait Isn’t A Portrait Until It’s Printed
Digitals are nice, momentarily. But how often do you forget to print before the technology changes, or you lose those memorable digitals, or find out that the image quality isn’t very good.
I promise that in 5 or 10 years when digital formats change (and they will), the archival-quality portrait prints from my studio will be priceless. Photos offer an entirely different experience when they’re printed.

Portraits
They say, “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” I’ve always felt that photography's obligation is to make you behold the beauty. Find out about classic studio portraits.
Business Brand & Headshots
Entrepreneurs and creatives need to have their brand vision interpreted by them, not by others. Craft your brand and how people see you. I’ll help you take control of your profile images.
